Loughmore-Castleiney and Aherlow Gaels qualified for the County Tipperary senior football final with semi-finals wins over Clonmel Commercials and JK Brackens on Sunday.
Loughmore are now bidding for a unique double after winning the county senior hurling title a week earlier.
They got the better of champions Commercials by a single point, 0-8 t0 0-7, with man of the match in the hurling final, Noel McGrath, again one of their stars.
It was a disappoining exit for Commercials who never reproduced the form that saw them win the title twelve months ago.
Aherlow Gaels also had a single point to spare over JK Brackens, 0-12 to 1-8.
The amalgamation team of Aherlow and Lattin-Cullen can thank county star Barry Grogan for three late points that saw them advance to the final.
