With the Convention circuit now over for another year a packed Community Centre in Annacarty on Tuesday night February 5 was the venue for West Bord Na nOg’s Adjourned Convention where the various first round fixtures in both Hurling and Football were finalised.

With a number of grading issues having gone back to County Bord Na nOg for a final resolution, the way was cleared for competitions to commence in the Division this Saturday, February 23 with the opening rounds of Feile Peil Na nOg (U14 Football) and the U14B and U14C Football leagues.

All clubs should now have received a complete list of the playing schedule along with Divisional and County deadlines and with no fewer than thirty five competitions and approximately 430 games down for decision culminating with U13 Garda Cup hurling finals on Sunday October 6, its certainly a full playing calendar year and we wish all our clubs the best of luck in the pursuit of Divisional titles and County honours.
