St Mary’s through to South u-21 hurling final

Well done to St Mary’s under 21s who had an excellent victory in the South semi-final last weekend against a competitive Ballybacon/Grange team.

Well done to St Mary’s under 21s who had an excellent victory in the South semi-final last weekend against a competitive Ballybacon/Grange team.

We converted a three point deficit at half time into a three point victory, which was very reflective of the determination of the team and panel, instilled over the last few weeks by Sean O’Meara and his team.

The final will take place next Saturday in Kilsheelan at 2.00 pm and all club members are encouraged to attend and lend their support. Our opponents are Carrick Swans, against whom we lost by a single point in the qualifiers, so a very tight tussle is on the cards.

Juvenile Indoor Training

Training continues for our youngsters every Saturday in the Cashel road Complex as follows:

U/8s: 10 am – 11 am

U/6s: 11 am – 12 noon

U/10s: 12 n00n – 1 pm

All are welcome!

Social Night for Parents

The club is organising a social evening for the parents of our Under 6s, 8s and 10s next Saturday, November 30th. The venue is Eldon’s, with the throw in at 9.30 pm. So come along and enjoy a sociable evening with the parents of our future Tipperary heroes and heroines! That might even include you!

Raffle tickets

Raffle tickets have been distributed, which is usually the easy bit! The hard part is getting them back in (the sold ones, I mean). Please return all sold tickets to John Carew ASAP.

Tipperary v Wexford

A big day for all hurling fans in Tipperary will be Saturday December 14th. St Mary’ have invited the Tipperary team to play a challenge match against Wexford in Clonmel Sportsfield. This is a big day for the club so we will need the help of all active members in the club on the day.

The Pitch

With the above match in mind, and recent weather, please note that the main pitch is now closed, and will only open for the match on December 14th. All trainers please note.
