South Tipp Bord na nOg winning captains receive medals

South Tipperry Bord na nOg Captains evening took place on Sunday in Ned Hall Park, where all our winning Captains received their teams medals for the 2013 Championships.

It was great to see so many people come along to support their Captains and Clubs.

Brian White (South Bord na nOg chairman) opened the Ceremony inviting Johnny Cummins to present the medals to our winning Football Captains. We then had our Special Merit Awards which were Presented by our County Chairman, Sean Nugent.

These awards were presented to Johnny Cummins of Ardfinnan and Paddy Nagle of Carrick Davins.

Following this Liam Cahill (Manager of County Minor Panel) presented the medals to our Hurling Captains.

Our Senior Board Chairman, Joe Brennan said a few words before the ceremony was closed by Brian White.

A big thank you to Noreen and Paddy in Clonmel Og for organising refreshments and having the hall ready for our Medal Presentation.

Divisional Squads for 2014:

Under 16 Football Divisional Squad training/trials will commence on Sunday 1st December in Clonmel Sports centre, Clonmel at 12 noon. Players born in 1998 only to attend.

Under 15 Football & Hurling Divisional Squad training/trials continue on Wednedsay at 6.30pm in Scoil Ruain Killenaule on Astroturf. Players born in 1999 only to attend also to bring €2 to contribute to the lighting.

Under 15 Divisional Hurlers will have a Challenge match v West in Bansha on Sunday 1st at 12 noon. More details at training on Wednesday evening.

Under 14 Hurling Divisional Squad training/trials will commence on Saturday 1st December in Clonmel Og (Ned Hall Park) at 11am sharp. Players born in 2000 only to attend.
