Cahir girls are All Ireland champions

Colaiste Dun Iascaigh from Cahir were crowned All Ireland champions on Saturday with victory over Loreto Omagh in the ladies football schools junior final.

Colaiste Dun Iascaigh from Cahir were crowned All Ireland champions on Saturday with victory over Loreto Omagh in the ladies football schools junior final.

It was a tremendous achievement from the Cahir girls who won 4-8 to 3-5.

Omagh brought a very strong team to Moate in County Westmeath but Cahir were up to the challenge, receiving a boost on the day prior to the game when Emma Buckley and Claire Walsh passed fitness tests and were able to line out.
