Cahir ladies play for Tipp in All Ireland

Cahir Ladies Football Club wish the Tipperary County U16 team the best of luck in the All Ireland final on Saturday next. The final is in Banagher, Co Offaly, where they take on Cavan.

Cahir Ladies Football Club wish the Tipperary County U16 team the best of luck in the All Ireland final on Saturday next. The final is in Banagher, Co Offaly, where they take on Cavan.

The club is represented by Aisling McCarthy (captain), Emma Buckley, Roisin Howard, Megan Burke, Keely Halpin and Caral Casey and also have selectors Tony Fox, Karl McCarthy and Martin Halpin. The club would hope as many people as possible will travel to support the girls.

The intermediate team played senior side Cappawhite in a challenge match on Tuesday last in preparation for their county final. This was a good test for the girls. The club wish Geraldine O’Donnell a speedy recovery from her injury which she suffered during this game.

The club would like to congratulate all the club members who received there leaving cert results during the week and best wishes for the future.
