Clonmel Og are South Tipperary u-21 football ‘B’ champs

Clonmel Og won the South Tipperary u-21 FC ‘B’ title with a surprise victory over favourites Mullinahone in the final.

However the Clonmel side were well worth their 1-7 to 0-6 victory at Monroe.

Clonmel Og were 0-6 to 0-3 ahead at the break and copperfastened their dominance eleven minutes into the second half with a goal from Dean Kelleher after his penalty was saved by Mullinahone keeper Jack McCarthy but Kelleher shot the rebound to the net.

Lack of firepower in attack prevented Mullinahone eating into the Clonmel Og lead
