The late Catherine Garrard
The death has occurred of Catherine Garrard (née Sadlier), Cashel and formerly of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England and Breanmore, Nine-Mile-House, Carrick-On-Suir, on September 30th 2016, peacefully at Waterford Regional Hospital. Deeply regretted by her loving son Liam, daughter Tricia, son-in-law Gino, daughter-in-law Joanne, grandchildren Oliver, Harvey and Caitlin, brothers Martin and Michael, sisters Bridget, Nancy, Angela and Josephine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour, Cashel on Saturday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Sunday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Grangemockler for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to South Tipperary Hospice.
The late Tom Carroll
The death has occurred of Tom Carroll, Bridge Street, Carrick-on-Suir, in his 97th year. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10.30am in St Nicholas’ Church with burial afterwards in the Friary Cemetery.
The late John Joe Grogan
The death has occurred of John Joe Grogan, Foxford, Bansha, on October 4th 2016, predeceased by his daughter Eleanor. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family; wife Helen, daughters Libby and Triona and her partner Noel, son-in-law Neil, sister Bridgetann (Butler), mother-in-law Lil (Peters), grandchildren Daniel, Aidan and Clodagh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews Rodger and Liam, nieces Eileen, Kathleen and Mairead, relatives, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary Town, Wednesday, from 5.30pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday in the Church of the Annunciation, Bansha, at 11.30am and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Pauline O'Sullivan
The death has occurred of Pauline O'Sullivan (née Ryan), Main Street, Golden, and formerly of Kishikirk, Ballysimon, Co Limerick, on 4th October 2016. Deeply regretted by loving husband Liam, son Aidan, daughters Sarah & Ciara, brother John, sister Marie, daughter-in-law Thao, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, granddaughter Quinnlan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home Wednesday from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Arriving to Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Golden on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
The late Breda Kennedy
The death has occurred of Breda Kennedy (née Dwyer), Ard Mhuire, Thurles, peacefully in St. Theresa's Nursing Home, Thurles. The late Margaret Purcell
The death has occurred of Margaret (Peg) Purcell (née Stakelum), Ard na Croise, Thurles, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Margaret (Quinn), son Pat, daughter-in-law Teresa, sisters Bridget (Ryan) and Lucy (Ryan), brother Gerard, sisters-in-law Nuala and Nancy, grandchildren Philip, John, Philip and Brid, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The late Angela Quigley
The death has occurred of Angela Quigley, Kickham Street, Thurles, peacefully. Deeply regretted by her loving brother Ger, sisters Breda and Marian, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

The late Margaret Ryan
The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Ryan, Holycross, peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Martin Ryan of Holycross. Much loved and missed by her daughters Mary, Phil, Carmel, Ger, Martina and her 'sixth daughter' Ann. Her sister Marie, her grandchildren Suzie, Lisa, Louise, Aidan, Rachel and Liam, her great-grandchildren Layla and Ben. Also Mark, Jens, Richard, Paul and Keith. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Simpsons Hospital, Ballinteer, who took such good care of Peggy, 'we are forever grateful to you'.
Peggy will be brought to Holycross Abbey on Thursday 6th October for Requiem Mass at 11.30am and to be reunited with her beloved Martin, whom she has missed for so long. The funeral is family only, in accordance with her wishes, but we know all our friends will be with us in spirit as we lay her to rest.
Family flowers only, but a small donation to the charity Alone would be appreciated in lieu, to remember all the eldery people who are on their own at the end of their lives.
