Recent deaths in Tipperary. 17-10-16

 

We record a number of deaths in Tipperary in recent days. May they all Rest in Peace.

The late Paul McGrath

The sudden death has taken place of Paul McGrath, 8 Marlfield Road, Clonmel, on 15th October 2016, (son of the late Jim McGrath). Dearly loved son of Maura and brother of Deirdre, uncle of Caoimhe and Eoghan and brother-in-law of Eddie. Deeply missed by his mother, sister, brother-in-law, aunts and uncles, nephew, niece, cousins and friends.

Reposing at his home, 8 Marlfield Road, on Monday evening (17th October) from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral arriving at St Mary’s Church, Irishtown, on Tuesday at 11.45am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning, please. Donations in lieu of flowers to St. Vincent de Paul Society.

The late Marie Grace

The death has occurred of Marie Grace (née Horan), Poulnagunogue, Mountain Road, Clonmel, peacefully at South Tipperary General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Michael and much loved mum of Nicola, Gill and David. Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, son, parents Paddy & Alice Horan, brother Desmond, grandchildren Louis, Jack, Lexi, Luke, Georgia and Harry, sons-in-law David & John, David’s partner Celina, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

 Funeral Mass on Monday at 1 o’clock followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland with which she had a close working relationship.

 

The late Michael Carew

The death has occurred of Michael Carew, Kilmore, Dundrum, on October 16th 2016, peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife and family at South Tipperary General Hospital, Clonmel. Predeceased by his brother Tom, sisters Maureen and Sr. Imelda. Very sadly missed by his wife Mary, sons Seamus, Thomas and Séan, daughters Maria, Helen, Sinéad and Bridget, brothers John and James, sisters Margaret, Teresa, Bride, Sr. Olivère and Kathleen, his grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers- in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, on Tuesday from 5pm, with removal at 7.30pm to The Church of the Assumption, Knockavilla. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am followed by burial in Cormac’s Cemetery, Cashel.

 

The late Tommy Maher

The death has occurred of Tommy (Count Von Knocka) Maher, Thurlesbeg, Cashel, on  October 15th 2016, peacefully at his sister Lucy’s residence. Tommy (Count Von Knocka), beloved son of the late Dina and Mick. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Lucy and Susan, brothers Billy and Timmy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunt Bridget, aunt-in-law Eileen, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his sister Lucy Butler’s sesidence, Dublin Road, Cashel this Tuesday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Boherlahan at 11.30am followed by Burial in Cormac’s Cemetery, Cashel.

The late Margaret (Peggy) Buckley

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Buckley (née Cullen), Kickham Street, Thurles,  in the loving care of the Matron, Nurses and Staff of Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross and the Milford Hospice Palliative Care Nurses. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Larry.

Sadly missed by her loving sons Oliver, Larry, Jimmy and Paddy, grandchildren Susan and Joanne, great-grandchildren Shannon and Patrick, sister Nellie, brothers Johnny and Charlie, sister-in-law Bridie, brother-in-law Jimmy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Hugh Ryans' Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday 17th October from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday 18th October at 11am followed by burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Milford Hospice.
