St. Anne's (Tipperary) launch new app tool for students and parents


St. Anne’s Secondary School is launching an exciting new App alongside their newly refurbished website.

“The App is a very informative tool for all current students and their parents and it is free and available for all to download from the App Store,” explained Teacher Ms. Niamh Ryan. “The App can be used to send notifications to the school community informing them of events that may affect them specifically. It contains sections on School Info, Parent Association, Extra Curricular Activities, Uniform, Newsletter, Examinations, Motivation and Useful Links. The App also has a News section, a Calendar that contains a list of all upcoming school events and in formation on Past Exam Papers, Life Style and Anti-Bullying.”

The new St. Anne’s school App also links to the school website. It is a very comprehensive communications device and will be invaluable in the years to come in communicating important information to staff, students and parents.

St. Anne's have made much advancement in IT recently including refurbishing and updating the School Website,

The website now offers a very comprehensive insight into all aspects of life in St. Anne's. There is information on all elements of school life including: the school history, curriculum, extra-curricular activities, subject choice, school day, and parent/student information and all articles are accompanied by eye-catching photos, giving a true reflection of daily life in St. Anne's Secondary School.

“The Gallery section also includes many wonderful visual representations of life in St. Anne's. The School News is a very important section on the website and is updated regularly with news of all school activities, trips, achievements and adventures.
