Carrick Swan GAA Club has received a €72,500 Sports Capital Programme grant that will help fund the development of its new playing grounds at Ballyrichard Road on Carrick-on-Suir’s outskirts.

This grant for phase one of the project means work on installing the playing surface for the new GAA grounds will commence in early spring.

Meanwhile, the Club’s 12 Days of Christmas draw in aid of the new sports grounds began on Tuesday and runs until Saturday December 16 when one lucky person will become €10,000 richer.

The Club invites members and supporters to attend the final draw in The Carraig Hotel on Saturday, December 16. It’s sure to be a great night.

The Club thanks everyone who has contributed to the draw including the ticket sellers, collectors and most of all the buyers. This fundraiser will help turn the proposed Club's site at Ballyrichard Road into a sports ground that will rival any other club in the country.
