Launch of Tidy Towns plan

The Cahir Tidy Towns Group launched the new plan for the next three years over the Christmas period and there is a great deal of work involved. Many premises have been commended on their upgrades since the last plan and many more have been added. The group will not be asking anyone to complete works to their premises but if you think that you may be able to contribute or are thinking of painting or power hosing your building if might be no harm to check if you are on the plan and maybe a colour has been recommended for your area.

Anyone with concerns should contact the Chairman, Andy Moloney or any member of the group at the Enterprise Centre with recommendations of where you can help.

We can see the evenings starting to lengthen already and it won’t be long before we will be back in full swing. The group will have our next meeting in the Shamrock Lounge on Wednesday, January 23, to organise a quiz in mid-February.
