In a letter to Dr Alan Moore, he has been told not to speak to the media about the issue again.

Medical colleagues and members of the Save Our Hospital Action Committee have reacted angrily to the letter.

Meanwhile the HSE have confirmed March as the closing date for the unit attached to South Tipperary General Hospital.
