First Green Flag for Fethard Primary School

Holy Trinity National School received its first Green Flag on May 17 at a special presentation ceremony held in Cork. The overall aim of the school was to reduce waste in the school and to minimise the use of cling-film and tin foil for lunch packing.

Holy Trinity National School received its first Green Flag on May 17 at a special presentation ceremony held in Cork. The overall aim of the school was to reduce waste in the school and to minimise the use of cling-film and tin foil for lunch packing.

There has been great success in this area and the two dreaded non-biogradable materials have all but been eradicated from the premises.

The pupils and staff are now looking onwards and upwards towards procuring flag No 2.
