Clonmel native John O’Driscoll and his wife Aoife, living in Lucan in Dublin, are parents to a beautiful little girl Saoirse who was born with complex Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) in December 2010.

They have put together a calendar to support Heart Children Ireland, a support group for children and families affected by CHD in Ireland.

The calendar’s theme is Superhero & Princesses. Every child included in the calendar has a CHD, this year they’ve managed to include over 100 Irish children.

What makes this calendar, in its second year, such a success is the involvement of so many parents of children with CHD. Over 80 families are selling the 2015 calendar nationwide at the moment, including many in Tipperary, to family, friends and work colleagues. “It is a huge team effort that last year raised over €28,000 for Heart Children Ireland, this year our goal is €35,000“, said Aoife.
