Burglars made off with thousands of euros worth of cosmetics and perfumes from a Cahir pharmacy in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
O’Brien’s Pharmacy on The Square in Cahir was broken into around 3.30am. According to gardai, the burglars gained entry by forcing open the door.
A Cahir Garda Station spokesman said one eye witness saw part of the incident and it’s understood the criminals escaped by car down Castle Street and headed in the direction of Bansha.
He said the gardai were following a definite line of inquiry into the burglary and appealed for the public’s help in catching the criminals.
“We are appealing to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the vicinity of the pharmacy between 3am and 3.30am on this night to contact Cahir Garda Station. We are also anxious to hear from anyone who saw a large silver car that was possibly involved in the burglary.”
