Brilliant Bunting, Clonmel Junction Festival’s exciting textile art project, continues every Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 9.30. To cater for the growing interest, there will be an additional weekly session on Thursday morning from 11 to 1pm at The Common Thread Café in Parnell Street.

The project is suitable for all levels of ability, from total beginners to craft fanatics. It is ideal for anyone wishing to learn sewing skills or improve their current ones, as well as getting new design ideas. It is also a great opportunity to create something for the community while meeting new people in the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of The Common Thread Café. The bright and brilliant bunting will be used to decorate Mitchel Street during the Festival, which this year runs from 1st to 10th July. The bunting will then be stored as a resource to be used by other groups and events in the future.

Workshops are free of charge but registration is desirable: please e-mail commonthreadcafe@gmail.com, or phone/text: (086) 8225054 or register in person at the Cafe at 15, Parnell Street, Clonmel.
