Remember a Friend night

The night was Saturday, April 9, in the Outback bar in Clonmel. Three great bands were waiting to play, Mind at Risk, Force 10 and Johnny B and the Boogie men. The O’Mahoney family from Ardfinnan were there to watch the Richie O’Mahoney DVD and receive a presentation. Karen Moore and Pat Cunningham had a cheque made out for €5,000, which was raised on the Richie motorcycle run in 2008. The bands were great. Only a small crowd turned up but they were there to have a good night and that they had. Even with free entry and great bands it’s very hard to raise money for Crumlin. We would like to thank Cathy from the Outback for the use of her Venue also to the bands who really played great music also to the bar staff and indeed to the people who turned up for the remember a friend rock night. A big thanks goes out to all who came, danced the night away and who raised €240 for Crumlin Childrens Hospital.
