Death of former South Tipperary County Council member

The death has taken place of former South Tipperary County Council member Pat Norris.

Mr Norris was a long standing member of Fianna Fail and one of the most popular and likeable politicians in the county.

Mr Norris, from Rathronan, Clonmel, was also a former chairman of the council.

His remains will be removed from O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Clonmel on Monday evening at 7.30pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Powerstown.

Requiem mass at 12 noon on Tuesday and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
