World Vision Ireland is inviting all Tipperary sponsors and anyone interested in finding out about its work in Africa, to a supporter evening which will take place Hearn’s Hotel Clonmel, on Wednesday, May 23 – starting at 7.30pm.

On the night local woman Mary Hayes, who has sponsored a child with World Vision Ireland for many years, will chat about the emotional and life changing trip she made last November to Swaziland, one of the poorest countries in the world.

The retired teacher will share her experiences and give an insight into the work of World Vision Ireland as seen through the eyes of a child sponsor.

World Vision CEO, Helen Keogh, will also speak on the night and demonstrate how the money, so kindly donated by Tipperary supporters, is changing the lives of so many children in Africa. Video footage of World Vision Ireland’s work on the ground will also be shown.

Light refreshments will be provided. All are welcome!
