A fun night out, with proceeds going to a good local cause, is coming to Cashel.
The Deanery School has long been a part of the community in Cashel. It moved into its present location 25 years ago. Since 1987 there has been no upgrade of the school playground. The Parents Association in consultation with school teachers, the principal and Board of Management has decided to upgrade the playground for the children. The Department of Education has informed us there are no funds available to help us. Therefore, the Parents Association have decided to raise the funds themselves and hopefully do the renovations during the summer holidays.
We would love you to join us on May 17, in Brú Ború, at 7.30pm when TV chef and Tipperary native Andrew Rudd will be cooking up summer sizzling sensations using locally sourced produce!
There will be a cheese and wine reception and stalls from representatives of local food producers and businesses. There will be a raffle, the prizes of which have been generously donated by local shops and businesses. Tickets cost €15 and are available from The Deanery School, Cashel, Spearman’s Bakery, Cashel or Brú Ború.
Your support would be appreciated and we hope everyone that attends will have a great night.
The Deanery School Parents Association would like to thank everyone who supported their table quiz last month in The Brian Ború pub in Cashel. Matt Finnerty made an excellent quiz master with a wide variety of questions. A big thank you to Alan and the staff of the Brian Ború for their hospitality and to all the local businesses that gave so generously for our raffle on the night.
All funds raised will go towards the upgrade of the school playground during the summer. We hope everyone will continue to support our fundraising efforts.
