A Tipperary Town Multi-cultural Open Garda Day will be held on September 14th offering a variety of different experiences for families and the public to enjoy.
Doors open at 12 noon until 4pm .
“The purpose of the day is to build good community relations between the public and the Gardai,” said Sgt.Padraic Powell.
“People usually only see the Garda in uniform and this is an opportunity for families to come out and experience different aspects of our jobs and see the different divisions.”
The day includes face-painting, a tour of the cells and treats for the kids.
All are welcome to attend this fun family day.
