South Tipperary to be represented at the Presidential Inauguration

The people of South Tipperary will be represented at the inauguration of new president Michael D Higgins, on Friday, by County Council chairman Michael Fitzgerald.

The people of South Tipperary will be represented at the inauguration of new president Michael D Higgins, on Friday, by County Council chairman Michael Fitzgerald.

At Monday’s meeting of the county council, Cllr Fitzgerald sent best wishes to the president elect from the county.

“The support and love that is in the country for president elect Higgins, as he takes office, is quite evident,” Cllr Fitzgerald said.

He added that he would be delighted and honoured to be in Dublin Castle on Friday representing the people of South Tipperary.
