Clonmel couple home after cruise liner sinking

Clonmel couple Seamus and Carol Moore, who were on board the stricken cruise liner that sank off the Italian coast on Friday night, returned home safely on Sunday. They were greeted at Dublin Airport by family and friends before making their way back to Clonmel.

They were shaken but unhurt in the ordeal when the Costa Concordia ran aground on the west coast of Italy.

The couple, who are very well known and popular in the town, have three children - Luke, Claire and James - who were at the airport to meet them.
