If any celiac person would like to receive Communion please contact the celebrant of the Mass or the Sacristy. If a celiac person would prefer Communion from the Chalice, again contact the celebrant or the Sacristy.
Congratulations: We congratulate the 17 boys and girls from the Presentation Primary and the 32 boys from St. Mary’s CBS Primary and Riain Neenaghan, who travelled from England, all of whom received their First Eucharist on Saturday. We were delighted for Riain who was baptised in St. Mary’s and wanted to receive his First Eucharist here. Remember them in your prayers that the Eucharist will become a meaningful part of their lives and that as they journey through life they will find strength and consolation in their reception and celebration of the Eucharist. Next Saturday we welcome the boys and girls from the Gael Scoil.
Graduation: The Presentation Secondary will celebrate their Graduation Ceremony on Thursday night in the Presentation Secondary school.

All-Ireland Rosary Rally: The All Ireland Rosary Rally will be held at Knock Shrine on Saturday, 1st June. Lourdes Pre–Pilgrimage Mass: To pray for the success of the Diocesan Waterford–Lismore Lourdes Pilgrimage, Bishop William Lee will celebrate Mass in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Waterford on Saturday, 1st June at 6.15pm. Pilgrims, the sick and members of the public are invited to attend this, the first Mass of the Pilgrimage.
Parish Pastoral Council (PPC): A meeting of the Pastoral Council was held on Monday last, 14th May. The meeting was briefed by Paul Brett, Parish Child Safeguarding Delegate, on his ongoing work in implementing the diocesan procedures for child safeguarding across the parish. Reports were received from the PPC sub-groups, including proposals to improve the location of the parish office facilities.
Faith Formation, including consideration of the formation of a parish Baptism Team was also discussed as was Liturgy, including strengthening the Ministers of the Word team and also assisting with the Corpus Christi procession.
