A man was killed in a freak accident in Dundrum on Sunday morning.
Edward (Ned) Mullally from Castlepark Gardens, Golden, was kicked by a bullock when he was working with other men with farm animals and died a short time later.
Following the accident his body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The late Mr. Mullally, who was in his mid 30s, was originally from O’Duffy Terrace, Tipperary town. He and his wife Marie have three daughters - Leanne, Jessica and Amie.
He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and other relations.
In a tribute Deputy Tom Hayes described him as a very nice, quiet and hardworking man who worked very hard for his wife and family.
“He was highly respected in the community”, said Deputy Hayes.
Mr. Mullally will be buried in St. Michael’s cemetery, Tipperary today, Wednesday, following Requiem Mass at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Golden at 11.30.
