A Co. Waterford woman, aged in her 70s, died last week a few days after being involved in a two vehicle road accident on the N24 Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir road near Kilsheelan.
Brid Phelan from Dunhill died in hospital in Dublin last Wednesday, December 11 and was buried last Saturday. She was an occupant of one of the cars involved in the head-on collision near the Kilheffernan Roundabout at 6.30pm on Sunday, December 8. She and her husband were travelling in the direction of Carrick-on-Suir. There were two adults and three children in the other vehicle.
