Kieran Bourke elected unopposed as Mayor of Carrick-on-Suir

Cllr Kieran Bourke was elected unopposed as Mayor of Carrick-on-Suir under a five-year mayoral election voting pact agreed by the nine-member Council following the 2009 local elections.

Cllr Kieran Bourke was elected unopposed as Mayor of Carrick-on-Suir under a five-year mayoral election voting pact agreed by the nine-member Council following the 2009 local elections.

He was proposed for the mayoralty by his FF colleague Cllr Sylvia Cooney-Sheehan and seconded by Cllr Richie O’Neill (Ind).
