In Clonmel there were nineteen patients on trolleys in corridors, more than any other hospital in the country except for Our Lady of Lourdes, Drogheda and Beaumont Hospital who both had twenty.
In the combined figures for patients on trolleys in corridors and trolleys in wards, South Tipp General is near the top of the league again. There were two patients on trolleys in wards in South Tipp on Tuesday bringing the total to 21. Only Connolly in Blanchardstown which had seventeen on trollies in corridors and six on trolleys in wards (23 ) and St. Lukes Kilkenny which had seven patients on trolleys in corridors and sixteen on trolleys in wards (23) were higher.
