Bishop to make Stations of the Cross at railway stations

The Church of Ireland Bishop of Cashel, Ferns and Ossory, the Rt Revd Michael Burrows, is undertaking the Stations of the Cross with a difference on Good Friday.

His stations will be at railway stations.

The novel venture will take him through railway stations throughout his diocese which includes Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Tipperary and Waterford.

He is planning to visit 15 railway stations in his Diocese on Good Friday, April 3.

At each station he will deliver a short tailor-made reflection for the Day and for the area.

His Tipperary stops include Carrick-on-Suir, Clonmel, Tipperary, Thurles and Templemore - the first will be Carrick at 8.45pm after beginning his journey in Waterford.
