Coffee Morning

Coffee Morning

To help raise funds for this year’s Daffodil Day fundraising campaign, Margaret O’Toole is holding a coffee morning on Saturday, March 9, in her home on the Dualla Road from 10am to 1pm.

There will also be a cake sale and donations of cakes and buns will be gratefully accepted. Your support will be much appreciated.

Womens’ World Of Prayer Service

The Womens’ World Of Prayer Service will be held this year in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Friar St., Cashel. The service takes place this Thursday, February 28, at 8pm. This year’s prayer service was prepared by the Christian Women of France.

You are invited to come along and join in this beautiful prayer service.

The reflection on the theme “I was a stranger and you welcomed me” will be delivered by Mrs. Pauline McHugh, Assistant Director of the Third World Agency - Touch Ireland.

Service at 8pm in the church and everyone is invited to gather afterwards in the Parish Centre for light refreshments. Men and women are warmly invited.

ICA Recruitment Day

Saturday, March 2, is ICA National Recruitment Day. Members of Dualla/Cashel ICA and neighbouring guilds will be in the Cashel Library, on that day, to meet women interested in joining ICA.

Come and talk to ICA between 10am and 12noon in the morning and 2pm and 4pm in the afternoon.

Halla na Feile

A Social Tea Dance will take place in Halla na Feile on this Friday, March 1, with dancing from 9pm to midnight.

Music is by the great Dermot Lyons. Teas and sandwich will be served and admission is €8.

Looking forward to seeing and we promise you a great night’s dancing.

The AGM of Halla na Feile will be held in the Halla this Thursday, February 28, at 8.30pm.

All affiliated groups are invited to send a representative.

Social Dancing Classes

Social Dancing Classes continue on Tuesday evenings in Halla na Feile with dancing from 8.30pm to 10.45pm.

An extra half hour is added on for those who like ‘ballroom’ and all for €5.

Social dancing is an enjoyable way to improve you fitness and we have great teachers.

Cashel Men’s Group

World Taekwondo Association returns back to Halla na Feile this week. Kids on Monday and Thursday from 7.15pm to 8.15pm and adults on Monday and Thursday from 8.15pm to 9.15pm. New members welcome. For more information contact 0868359333.

Flower Club

Cashel Flower and Garden Club will hold their monthly meeting in Spafield Family Resource Centre on Monday, March 4, at 7.30 pm.

As it will be a work night, members are asked to bring containers, flowers and foliage to make an arrangement of their choice with Spring as the theme. A good attendance would be appreciated so that final arrangements can be made for the demonstration in April.

Spafield Family Resource Centre
