Attempted burglary at house while owners were at family wedding

A burglar was discovered by a 
security firm in the garden shed of a house in the Kilsheelan area on 
Saturday night while the owners were at a family wedding.

security firm in the garden shed of a house in the Kilsheelan area on 
Saturday night while the owners were at a family wedding.

The security was engaged by the family to keep a watch on the house at Ballyglasheen, Kilsheelan while they were attending the local 
celebration.

During one of the firm’s checks on the property around 12.15am, an intruder was found in a shed beside the house.

The surprised burglar committed a minor assault on the security firm staff member, who discovered him, and fled the scene in a car, which drove off in the direction of 
Ballpatrick.

A spokesman for Clonmel Garda Station said the burglar didn’t 
manage to steal any property from the house.

The garda spokesman appealed to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the vicinity of Ballyglasheen, Kilsheelan on Saturday night/
