Summer history lectures continue in Cashel library

Next week, on July 23, Prof. Salvador Ryan will be most welcome to Cashel to present his talk on ‘The Devotional Landscape of Tipperary in the Late Medieval to Early Modern Periods’. Salvador has a long association with Tipperary, having studied and taught at St. Patrick’s College Thurles as well as at Maynooth, where he is now Prof. of Ecclesiastical History. He has published widely on his subject including (with Brendan Leahy) Treasures of Irish Christianity: People and Places, Images and Texts.

Lectures begin at 7.15pm upstairs in the library in Cashel, admission is free.
