Clonmel Chamber of Commerce is to embark on a new campaign to provide support to solo entrepreneurs throughout South Tipperary

Chamber CEO Brian Cleary has announced that they will be facilitating the launch of a new informal networking group for solo entrepreneurs in South Tipperary.

The group will meet monthly on the first Friday of each month from September 6th.

The group has been created following requests from members and non-members of the Chamber who were working alone. The aim of the group is to offer solo entrepreneurs an opportunity to mix with like minded individuals in a relaxed setting.

Speaking about the new initiative Brian Cleary, CEO of Clonmel Chamber of Commerce said that the Chamber was delighted to be facilitating the creation of such a group.

Brian Cleary said that with the ever changing world of working in business it was important to strive towards taking isolation out of the picture.

“I think that we need to realise that many of the traditional means of working are now gone and that people can work from anywhere. With those developments came the rise of isolation for many business owners. The new networking group aims to bring back a social aspect to their working week. This will be a very relaxed casual event. We don’t anticipate having guest speakers as we do at our Chamber events. This will be a chance to have a coffee and meet like minded individuals” he said.

There will be no cost to attend the monthly events and refreshments will be provided free of charge. Booking in advance will be essential. If you would like to attend please call 052 6126500 or book online at www.clonmelchamber.com
