A major facelift is to begin at Denis Burke Park in Clonmel next Monday, July 7.
The County Council has appointed Marlhill Construction Ltd. to commence the work at the park.
The improvements will include the provision of a performance platform and amphitheatre, children’s playing area, new and improved access points, meandering pathways, picnic areas and landscaping.
It is necessary to close the park for the duration of the works, which will commence next Monday, for 10 weeks. The County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
Copies of the proposals are available to inspect at the Council’s Clonmel Borough District Office, Civic Offices, Emmet Street.
