Tipp students scoop technology award

Students of St Anne’s Secondary School, Tipperary Town were presented with the national YSI Award for Using Technology to Change the World for Good Challenge at the Young Social Innovators of the Year Awards 2011 for ‘Welfare Of Our Furry Friends’ (WOOF). This is a special award for a projects that Uses Technology to Change the World for Good Challenge. The winning students received their prize at an award ceremony in the Citywest Convention Centre attended by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD as well as almost 3,000 young people.
