Council urged to suspend development charges

Carrick-on-Suir Town Council will tonight (Monday) be called on to suspend development charges to future developments in Carrick-on-Suir for a period of three years.

Carrick-on-Suir Town Council will tonight (Monday) be called on to suspend development charges to future developments in Carrick-on-Suir for a period of three years.

Fianna Fail Cllr Sylvia Cooney-Sheehan will table a motion at the Town Council’s monthly meeting requesting it to suspend the imposition of planning charges on any future developments that would highlight the town as a viable centre for development.
