We are delighted to be back in this talent contest for GAA clubs after an absence of a number of years.

We were due to take part in the West Final on Sunday, 5th December in Lattin at 7.30pm. We had representatives in Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Quiz and Music Group categories.

Thanks very much to the teachers, Billy Clifford (music) and Emma Heffernan (singing).


Annacarty Donohill Youth Choir will be holding a Christmas Concert on Friday, 17th December, in St. Brigid's Church, Annacarty, at 8pm. The concert will feature a wealth of local talent,and special guest Susan Corcoran, who recently played the leading lady in 'Oklahoma!' in Boherlahan. Tickets are 10 euros, available from Annacarty Hall committee, the sacristy and parents of the Choir. All proceeds go to Cluain Arann Nursing Care Unit in Tipperary Town.


There was no jackpot winner of the Eire Og Lotto for the 30th November. The seller's prize went to Mary Heffernan. Lucky dip winners were as follows:

E30 to Joanne Maguire, Cappawhite, John Kelly and Selma Ryan, Alleen, Maurice Ryan, Carhue, Karen Horgan,Knockavilla, Breda Browne, Graffin. Next draw takes place on Tuesday night.


Congrats to Pat O'Dwyer, Lisheenkyle, Donohill on the celebration of his fortieth birthday on Saturday night last in Crosses Donohill, with his family, relations, neighbours and his many friends. The ever popular Pat is wished many more happy birthdays.


The annual get together Christmas party for Annacarty/Donohill and Knockavilla/Donaskeigh which was postponed, will take place this Sunday 12th December, weather permitting, in Dundrum House Hotel and will also be joined by Cappawhite.
