A leisure cycle in memory of Fr. Colm O’Brien of Ss Peter and Paul’s, Clonmel will be held on Saturday, August 6th. Fr. Colm died nearly two years ago, aged just 36 years.

This is the second year that the cycle will be held in his memory and last year’s event raised €31,000, which was split between Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin and South East Cancer Care. This year it’s hoped to donate all proceeds to various needs in the three parishes that Fr. Colm held so close to his heart - Ss Peter and Paul’s, Clonmel; St. Paul’s, Waterford and Holy Cross, Tramore.

This fun event for the enthusiastic or leisure cyclists and families will comprise two cycles to cater for all levels of fitness. Cycle 1 will be staged from Clonmel to Tramore, via Waterford, while Cycle 2 will travel from Waterford to Tramore.
