A road ‘black spot’ where 11 car accidents have occurred since last April is to be surveyed by experts.
Darcy’s Cross, Clerihan, was highlighted by councillors at Monday’s meeting of South Tipp County Council.
Cllr Michael Murphy said he was concerned that if something is not done “somebody will be killed.” Cllr Tom Acheson said local residents are worried a serious accident will happen. Senior Roads Engineer Peter Britton said warning signs in the area have been upgraded and the council have engaged consultants to survey the road surface. They will react as quickly as they can.
