A man was stabbed with a knife during a row outside a party in a Clonmel estate on Christmas night.

A man was stabbed with a knife during a row outside a party in a Clonmel estate on Christmas night.

The injured man sustained two stab wounds in the incident, which occurred at Shanavine Way between 12 midnight and 12.10am on December 26.

He was treated for his injuries at South Tipperary General Hospital.

A Clonmel man appeared before a special sitting of Cashel District Court on St. Stephen’s Day charged in connection with the incident. He was remanded in custody to appear before Youghal District Court this Friday, January 2.
