Estates seek Tax Waiver

South Tipperary Planning Office has informed Cllr Tom Wood that the entire estate at Caiseal na Ri, Golden Road, Cashel and part of The Steeples, Dualla Road ( Saint Johns Court only) have been included in a submission made to the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government for a waiver from the Local Property Tax.

South Tipperary Planning Office has informed Cllr Tom Wood that the entire estate at Caiseal na Ri, Golden Road, Cashel and part of The Steeples, Dualla Road ( Saint Johns Court only) have been included in a submission made to the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government for a waiver from the Local Property Tax.

Both areas in question were subject to a waiver of the 2012 Household Charge.

In order to qualify for the waiver developments were surveyed in accordance with the following methodology issued by the Department: Access Road to at least base course level not provided; constructed footpath access not provided; no potable water supply; public lighting not installed; inadequate Waste Water System.

A further ten unfinished estates around South Tipperary have also been included on the return sheet, according to Cllr Wood.
