Coal stolen in Cashel raid

Forty bags of coals were stolen from the Dairygold Co-Op Store in Cashel in the dead of night on Sunday last.

Gardai believe the haul of coal stored in a yard at the Co-Op Store on the Cahir Road were carried manually out of the yard by the burglars and placed in a truck waiting outside the premises. It was not possible to drive into the yard.

The theft occurred between 1.35am and 2.30am on Sunday.

Gardai are appealing to anyone, who saw suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Dairygold Co-Op store in the early hours of Sunday to contact Cashel Garda Station at (062) 62866.
