The biggest haul was seized last Saturday afternoon in the Knocklucas area of the Old Bridge when €69,000 worth of cocaine and ecstasy was recovered when Gardai, assisted by members of the Divisional Drugs Unit, staged a surveillance operation in the area.

A local man was arrested close to the scene and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

€10,000 worth of cannabis was seized on the Fethard Road on the outskirts of Clonmel when Gardai stopped a car at 1.40am on Thursday morning. A local man was arrested and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

€20,000 worth of cannabis was recovered when a car was stopped at the Kilheffernan roundabout near Kilsheelan on Tuesday of last week. A local youth was arrested and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

€1,000 worth of cocaine was found in a follow-up search of a house in Glenconnor Heights.
