Munster and National Pitch and Putt

The past two weeks have seen the playing of qualifying rounds for Munster and National competitions. Nine Larkspur players have made it through to the Munster Strokeplay Championships to be held in Tramore on August 11. Niall O’Connor and Shane Dwan both made it through in the 14 – 15 age category. In the 10 – 13 age category the following were successful: James O’Sullivan, Colm Hayde, Brian Fitzpatrick, Paul Shortt, Paddy Fahy, Luke White and Jack McGrath. Colm Hayde played brilliantly at Lakeside in Templemore to secure a place in the National Strokeplay Finals to be held on August 18, at the St. Bridget’s Club, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. The club wishes the very best of luck to all players participating in both events.
