Exciting plans for Clonmel’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Efforts to prepare for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Clonmel are gathering momentum in the countdown to Tuesday March 17.

Representatives from across the civic, voluntary and community sectors in the town have been meeting regularly to put in place an exciting parade. Among the features are a host of musical and theatrical entertainers and performers.

District Mayor Martin Lonergan hosted the official launch of the parade with a variety of key local groups including Banna Chluain Meala, 2CanDo Arts, Department of Imagination, the County Museum’s Heritage Group, Clonmel Cycling Club, SeeChange Mental Health Awareness and Tipperary County Council.
