World Asthma Day takes place on May 7 and to mark this annual event, which raises awareness of asthma, the Asthma Society of Ireland is hosting a series of free clinics around the country, including Tipperary, to raise awareness of this chronic condition among sufferers and their families.
The clinic will take place on Friday May 10, from 10am-4pm in Sam McCauleys, Carrick-on-Suir.
The clinic will help educate local asthma sufferers and parents of children with asthma to take control of their asthma for the benefit of their health.
Patients will have the opportunity to have an individual consultation with a specialist nurse about their asthma management. All services are offered free of charge and places can be reserved by calling Padraig O’Byrne on 051 601130.
