Santa makes a flying visit to Tipperary Town

The children and adults waited with glee and excitement for the big red sleigh to arrive in the market yard for the switching on of the town’s Christmas lights.

Children joined radio presenter Breda Ryan on stage to sing Christmas carols and to remind Santa what a good girl and boy they had been. Arriving in style, accompanied by the Tipperary Vintage Rally crew , Santa’s top celebrity status was evident from the screaming kids and delighted adults.

The crowd, in their hundreds joined in the countdown for Santa to switch on the Christmas lights that sparkled down the Main street.
