Gardai are investigating burglaries at three homes in Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel over the past week.
Two houses in Carrick-on-Suir were targeted by burglars at the weekend. The first break-in was to a house at Ashpark in the town centre between 8pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
The criminals gained entry via the rear of the property and gardai investigating the break-in are awaiting details of whether any items were stolen.
The second Carrick-on-Suir house burgled was in the Lissadell Park area. Burglars entered the building again from the back of the property between 7pm on Saturday and 11.30pm on Sunday and stole a small quantity of cash.
A Carrick-on-Suir Garda Station spokesman appealed to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the vicinity of both houses last weekend to contact the garda station at (051) 640024,
Meanwhile, in Clonmel a house at Tivoli Heights was burgled on Monday between 6pm and 6.40pm while the occupants were out.
The raiders entered the premises by breaking a back window and stole several hundred euros worth of cash.
