Kevin Horan, from Langley, Virginia, a former staff photographer with the Chicago Sun newspaper had with him a print taken on his previous visit to the town in 1978. He inquired as to the names and wellbeing of the men as a copy of the photograph hangs in his home. As it was a grabbed shot he didn’t know the mens names.

A few phone calls provided the answers. All are sadly now deceased.
